What does that mean - virtual event? You can participate in this event - no matter where you are. The Event-Race Ranking makes it exciting for those who want to play for points with the others - and it will be worth it, because the FHQ (FLAGSTACK Head Quarter) will reward the upper ranks with awards :-)

You always like to hear good news, don't you? Well, listen to this...
Now it will be even more attractive to convince your real-life friends to play FLAGSTACK!
You will find a new flag type in your inventory from 08.06.2020 (dtd): the Recruiter Flag. Every player will receive one Recruiter Flag as a gift. And with this one flag you can cause a lot of fun!
This flag basically works like a Personal Flag. It is virtual, you can deploy it directly via app where you are standing / sitting / lying around, and it will return to your inventory by itself.
The best way to deploy it, is at the moment you are telling your friends about FLAGSTACK with joy. If your friends, as enthusiastic as they are, create an account and look at the map in the app, they can immediately see your Recruiter Flag. They capture that flag and then... And then it's on!
From that moment on you are connected for the next 6 months. That means you will be a direct contact person for this new FLAGHUNTER and your recruit can contact you with trust, if he or she has any questions about the game / tips and tricks / or wants to make an appointment to collect flags together.
As a reward for your efforts, you will get 50% of the points that your recruit receives for capturing Green Flags during this time :-)
So it is also to your advantage that your buddy becomes active properly!
If you do a good job as a recruiter and your buddy is so excited that he/she becomes an annual premium member, you will get 1 monthly premium membership for free!
Each of you will get this information by message, so you won't forget anything. Oh, and the new player account should be new - meaning not older than 7 days :-)
Since the Recruiter Flag returns to your inventory and can be captured by several new players, you can get by with this one flag. You can support many friends and profit from the fun and activity of your recruits :-)

Hello FLAGHUNTER!
Let's talk about the great things that happened at FLAGSTACK last month. Lots of #StayAtHome Jumper Flags visited you and sweetened your everyday life with their #SocialDistancing look... Right where you were, where you needed them most...
Our Australian friends were able to capture most Jumper Flags:
bisygisy (AU) capped an incredible number of 2,592 Jumper Flags in May
Alnic39 (AU) capped a remarkable number of 1,892 Jumper Flags in May
MCFonz (AU) capped an enviable number of 1,591 Jumper Flags in May
A number of FLAGHUNTERs in other countries were able to keep up with the pace:
BarnyardDawg (MY), BeardedZombie (GB) and SoccerFanatics (US) were also always on their way to capture more than 1,000 Jumper Flags
Then, and only then, FLAGHUNTERS from European countries appeared on the scene... Yes, in Europe there was a bit less action for the individual players, because the Jumper Flags were distributed differently, but it was just as much fun!
And all this because at FLAGSTACK there is this honestly great community! Many players, you noticed it by the name of the Jumper Flag, sent their greetings to you and made this overwhelming fun possible.
Remember? In the beginning there were a bit too many Jumper Flags for our sensitive system :-(
But thanks to our great technical team we were able to solve this really fast so you probably didn't even think about it anymore ;-)
For a better spreading of Jumper Flags, we changed the "waiting time" from 60 to 120 minutes before the next jump. As a result the Jumper Flags jumped less - but you had twice as much time to capture a Jumper Flag.
Many players took this benefit, gathering a few Jumper Flags on the Watchlist during the 120 minutes and then collected several Jumper Flags at once.
And sometimes such circumstances and first aid solutions turn into great new game features. The community feedback about the 120 minutes waiting time was very positive, so many players contacted us and asked to keep the 120 minutes waiting time…
Since we want the best for you and all the FLAGHUNTERS, we will follow this request and will completely implement the 120 minutes waiting time into the system in July.
As a thank you for the great engagement of the FLAGSTACK community, there will be a really nice surprise event with Jumper Flags next month, the birthday month of FLAGSTACK - of course there will be a badge for you - that goes without saying :-)

The merry month of May, an old English song’s saying… We just let ourselves be motivated by this old wisdom and today you’ll get the first hints what the FLAGSTACK team is working on in May...

Of course the news starts now!
Everything will be new in Team Battle! Team Battle is undergoing a general overhaul... We have put the cards face up on the table - what is good, what is fun, what is complicated, what is regionally unfair. After much feedback from the community, the negative cards were sorted out and many ideas for the new Team Battle were added.
These cards were reshuffled, we have assessed the pros and cons in intensive discussions between players / volunteers / developers and the FHQ (FLAGSTACK HeadQuarter) - and now it's our turn to implement them…
That means: the next Team Battle in June 2020 will be the last Team Battle of its kind! A beta phase with selected players is planned for July 2020 in order to make the technical fine-tuning. And in August 2020 - if everything works out - the revival of Team Battles will be launched!

Well, that's what we call a surprising success! The world's first virtual FLAGSTACK Flashmob event last Saturday united many, many Flaghunters in thought and brought fun in various ways... Some have been busy scanning Friend Flags on their PC, others helped Jumper Flags to make the next jump... And others had the opportunity to "clean up" a Dice Flag Hotspot or even a Night Trail - all over the world everyone did as they could.
Felix11 (DE) has promised that there will be some flag awards (many thanks, you are very generous!). Congratulations to all winners! They were all directly informed by Felix11...
And there are more generous players... Not only because today is Mother's Day in Germany and other countries, but to send a lot of positive news around the world: kasimir (DE) gives a Second Chance Option for Mother's Day to all flag hunters! The Second Chance Option has already been added to your inventory - check it out. Thanks a lot for this generous gesture to you, kasimir!

As you may have already seen in the event overview, there will be a very special event on 09.05.2020 from 13-16 h (time zone FHQ / Europe / Berlin).

Felix11 (DE) had the idea for a virtual Covid-19 - Flashmob - Event, in which all Flaghunter of this world can participate, no matter where you are at this moment :-)
The FLAGSTACK technical team has of course risen to this challenge, and...
...and yes, we have found a way! And yes, we're just gonna try it out!
Scan this code in time to participate in the event and the event race. In the above mentioned period you can play FLAGSTACK as it is possible for you. And if you are ranked at the top of the podium at the end of the event, Felix11 will drop an Eternal Flag to your desired address.
Will it work well with the code to activate the event? We can't guarantee 100%. But we tested it in a parallel universe (testing environment) and it was promising.
So why not just join the event and try it out! Maybe you will be a part of a world premiere :-)
