Of course the news starts now!
Everything will be new in Team Battle! Team Battle is undergoing a general overhaul... We have put the cards face up on the table - what is good, what is fun, what is complicated, what is regionally unfair. After much feedback from the community, the negative cards were sorted out and many ideas for the new Team Battle were added.
These cards were reshuffled, we have assessed the pros and cons in intensive discussions between players / volunteers / developers and the FHQ (FLAGSTACK HeadQuarter) - and now it's our turn to implement them…
That means: the next Team Battle in June 2020 will be the last Team Battle of its kind! A beta phase with selected players is planned for July 2020 in order to make the technical fine-tuning. And in August 2020 - if everything works out - the revival of Team Battles will be launched!

Well, that's what we call a surprising success! The world's first virtual FLAGSTACK Flashmob event last Saturday united many, many Flaghunters in thought and brought fun in various ways... Some have been busy scanning Friend Flags on their PC, others helped Jumper Flags to make the next jump... And others had the opportunity to "clean up" a Dice Flag Hotspot or even a Night Trail - all over the world everyone did as they could.
Felix11 (DE) has promised that there will be some flag awards (many thanks, you are very generous!). Congratulations to all winners! They were all directly informed by Felix11...
And there are more generous players... Not only because today is Mother's Day in Germany and other countries, but to send a lot of positive news around the world: kasimir (DE) gives a Second Chance Option for Mother's Day to all flag hunters! The Second Chance Option has already been added to your inventory - check it out. Thanks a lot for this generous gesture to you, kasimir!

As you may have already seen in the event overview, there will be a very special event on 09.05.2020 from 13-16 h (time zone FHQ / Europe / Berlin).

Felix11 (DE) had the idea for a virtual Covid-19 - Flashmob - Event, in which all Flaghunter of this world can participate, no matter where you are at this moment :-)
The FLAGSTACK technical team has of course risen to this challenge, and...
...and yes, we have found a way! And yes, we're just gonna try it out!
Scan this code in time to participate in the event and the event race. In the above mentioned period you can play FLAGSTACK as it is possible for you. And if you are ranked at the top of the podium at the end of the event, Felix11 will drop an Eternal Flag to your desired address.
Will it work well with the code to activate the event? We can't guarantee 100%. But we tested it in a parallel universe (testing environment) and it was promising.
So why not just join the event and try it out! Maybe you will be a part of a world premiere :-)

Everyone is staggering at the moment between spring fever and #stayathome. Fortunately, the next great challenge with FLAGSTACK is coming :-)
Cause next weekend is Easter and the egg hunt starts again!
As promised, in the recent days we’ve already hidden golden Easter bunnies in the inventories of Premium Members for free (yeah, the annual Premium Membership is really fantastic)! For all FLAGHUNTERS (with or without Premium Membership) there are even more golden Easter bunnies in the webshop .
Before we let them loose on mankind, of course we explained long and hard to the golden Easter bunnies what they have to do from 10.April, because from this date you can deploy your golden Easter bunnies.
Are you interested in what we taught them? Well, just keep reading...
You can deploy your golden Easter bunny from Good Friday (10 April 2020, 00:00 h, time zone FHQ / Europe / Berlin) via the app. The Easter Bunny automatically hides 40 golden Easter eggs on the map within a 1 km radius of your current deployment location - and you can seek them! They only appear on the map when you get close - about 200 meters - to these Easter Specials! You will find them on roads and footpaths, and amazingly: besides you, other FLAGHUNTERS can also find your golden Easter eggs! For every Easter egg capture, you will randomly receive 6-40 capture points. For at least 32 captured Easter eggs you will also be awarded with a colorful Easter badge and 3,200 bonus points. And if someone captures your golden Easter eggs, you will randomly receive 4-10 capture-on points!
Brand new this year: You can reach this badge several times... Eh? Yes, you read it right! Just keep searching and collecting, and you will enjoy the success and bonus points again :-)
This hidden egg search will run until 23 April 2020, 23:59 h, time zone FHQ / Europe / Berlin. But the mission is not over then...
All FLAGHUNTERS who prefer not to stay out so long, due to the current exceptional situation around the corona virus, will have the chance to collect the golden Easter eggs in a directed way from 24 April 2020 (00:00 h, time zone FHQ / Europe / Berlin). Cause from that moment on all golden Easter eggs will be shown on the map and you won't have to spend more time outside than necessary. From that moment on, the badge will give you 1,600 bonus points and of course it can still be earned several times.
And because Easter holidays are so nice, and the FHQ (FLAGSTACK HeadQuarter) loves you so much, there is another Easter campaign for the community!
Collect 200 Easter Specials from 10 April 2020 (00:00 h, time zone FHQ / Europe / Berlin) and receive 1,000 bonus points in addition to a nice badge! The Easter specials on the map are: Green Flags, Happy Holidays and Jumper Flags in addition to the golden Easter eggs.
All Easter Specials will disappear from the map on Sunday, 26 April 2020 (23:59 h, time zone FHQ / Europe / Berlin) and all this year's Easter Specials will end at this time.
