Sounds good? It is! At least as good as the BETA phase of the new Team Battles... Cause that's where it's at! The new functions are tested, there are hot discussions with the many participants, and ideas are written down or implemented immediately... Trust us, there is a great deal to come...! The first chance for spying was the Weekly Newsletter with your statistics - if you read it attentively, we have revealed a nice detail :-)

As good as the news on Covid-19 may be in some regions of the world, many of us FLAGHUNTERS will still be in the middle of an everyday life full of restrictions.

Next weekend the next big challenge awaits you in this birthday month. Two badge series are waiting for you. Each series consists of 5 badges which are based on each other and are unlocked one after the other by reaching the previous badge. So far so good? Yeah, sure!

You will start with the following tasks:
Series "easy-peasy" - Collect 25 Green Flags and after completing this, the next task will be visible for you
Series "hard-yard" - Place 25 Green Flags (via web or app) on the map and after that you will see your next ToDo

The two series of this 5x5-Challenge will start on 10.07.2020, 00:00 and end on 19.07.2020, 23:59 (time zone FHQ/Europe/Berlin). The activation of the next task is entirely up to you - with every completed badge of this challenge the next task will become visible - whenever you manage to do this within the above mentioned time period.

With the Double Point Weekend on 17-19.07-2020 you have another special motivation to complete the challenge, because surely you have already reserved this weekend for extraordinary FLAGSTACK activities :-)

Team Battle 2.0

Hello FLAGHUNTER!

We are sitting here writing to you with mixed feelings, one crying and one laughing eye. Right now, the final minutes of Team Battles, as we all know it, are running.

For 55 months Team Flags have been protected and picked, players were frustrated and delighted. Again and again questions and thoughts came up, both from FLAGHUNTERS and the FHQ... What is good, what does no one need, what can be improved? Instead of tinkering with small things from time to time, we draw a line under the previous Team Battle.

But of course this is not over! You know: As one door closes, another door opens...

In July, more than 100 voluntary FLAGHUNTERs test the new version of the Team Battles! There will be less "administrative stuff", but more possibilities. The future will also be called Team Battle and of course there will still be teams and a transfer window at the beginning of the month...

The beta testers will thoroughly test the new principle in July, so we can start with a fine-tuned Team Battle 2.0 in August. They are looking forward to it...and we at the FHQ are happy about it!

We are very excited, in a birthday mood and can hardly wait for July :-)

Do you remember your fifth birthday? Nowadays we would love to spend such a great day on the Bouncy House all day long!
No problem at all - with FLAGSTACK you can even feel like being on a bounce house for the whole month to celebrate the 5th birthday - a 31-day Jumper Flag Party all day long :-)

As promised, there will be over 5,000 Jumper Flags on the map to celebrate the birthday with us, with a colorful bouquet of flowers of owners: from FLAGSTACK as a thank you and because we are so happy to be with you, from the Official FLAGSTACK Volunteers (who get these Jumper Flags as a thank you present for their great tireless efforts for FLAGSTACK), and from FLAGHUNTERS who were lucky enough to get one of the birthday jumper packages... On a balmy summer evening on 14 June 2020 a Flaghunter and a Green Flag met in Heilbronn (DE) in the Badstrasse, and the coincidence made this meeting a great event :-)

Who and what?

Wow! Once Felix11 (DE) has started, nothing can stop him anymore. Actually, at this moment he must have been really happy about the lucky strike! And then he continued playing because he won 90 minutes of double points on Captures :-)

Keep it going, all of you out there! Every 1000th counted capture in the whole system will guarantee you an amazing win, and the FLAGSTACK records will ensure you a unique badge!

FLAGSTACK News: Friends recruit friends

Hello FLAGHUNTER!

You always like to hear good news, don't you? Well, listen to this...

Now it will be even more attractive to convince your real-life friends to play FLAGSTACK!

You will find a new flag type in your inventory from 08.06.2020 (dtd): the Recruiter Flag. Every player will receive one Recruiter Flag as a gift. And with this one flag you can cause a lot of fun!

This flag basically works like a Personal Flag. It is virtual, you can deploy it directly via app where you are standing / sitting / lying around, and it will return to your inventory by itself.

The best way to deploy it, is at the moment you are telling your friends about FLAGSTACK with joy. If your friends, as enthusiastic as they are, create an account and look at the map in the app, they can immediately see your Recruiter Flag. They capture that flag and then... And then it's on!

From that moment on you are connected for the next 6 months. That means you will be a direct contact person for this new FLAGHUNTER and your recruit can contact you with trust, if he or she has any questions about the game / tips and tricks / or wants to make an appointment to collect flags together.
As a reward for your efforts, you will get 50% of the points that your recruit receives for capturing Green Flags during this time :-)
So it is also to your advantage that your buddy becomes active properly!
If you do a good job as a recruiter and your buddy is so excited that he/she becomes an annual premium member, you will get 1 monthly premium membership for free!

Each of you will get this information by message, so you won't forget anything. Oh, and the new player account should be new - meaning not older than 7 days :-)

Since the Recruiter Flag returns to your inventory and can be captured by several new players, you can get by with this one flag. You can support many friends and profit from the fun and activity of your recruits :-)

FLAGSTACK's #StayAtHome turns your mood into #StayHappy

Hello FLAGHUNTER!

Let's talk about the great things that happened at FLAGSTACK last month. Lots of #StayAtHome Jumper Flags visited you and sweetened your everyday life with their #SocialDistancing look... Right where you were, where you needed them most...

Our Australian friends were able to capture most Jumper Flags:
bisygisy (AU) capped an incredible number of 2,592 Jumper Flags in May
Alnic39 (AU) capped a remarkable number of 1,892 Jumper Flags in May
MCFonz (AU) capped an enviable number of 1,591 Jumper Flags in May

A number of FLAGHUNTERs in other countries were able to keep up with the pace:
BarnyardDawg (MY), BeardedZombie (GB) and SoccerFanatics (US) were also always on their way to capture more than 1,000 Jumper Flags

Then, and only then, FLAGHUNTERS from European countries appeared on the scene... Yes, in Europe there was a bit less action for the individual players, because the Jumper Flags were distributed differently, but it was just as much fun!

And all this because at FLAGSTACK there is this honestly great community! Many players, you noticed it by the name of the Jumper Flag, sent their greetings to you and made this overwhelming fun possible.

Remember? In the beginning there were a bit too many Jumper Flags for our sensitive system :-(
But thanks to our great technical team we were able to solve this really fast so you probably didn't even think about it anymore ;-)

For a better spreading of Jumper Flags, we changed the "waiting time" from 60 to 120 minutes before the next jump. As a result the Jumper Flags jumped less - but you had twice as much time to capture a Jumper Flag.
Many players took this benefit, gathering a few Jumper Flags on the Watchlist during the 120 minutes and then collected several Jumper Flags at once.

And sometimes such circumstances and first aid solutions turn into great new game features. The community feedback about the 120 minutes waiting time was very positive, so many players contacted us and asked to keep the 120 minutes waiting time…

Since we want the best for you and all the FLAGHUNTERS, we will follow this request and will completely implement the 120 minutes waiting time into the system in July.

As a thank you for the great engagement of the FLAGSTACK community, there will be a really nice surprise event with Jumper Flags next month, the birthday month of FLAGSTACK - of course there will be a badge for you - that goes without saying :-)
