We have a QUESTION: would it be SPECIAL, if at the end of the Team Battles you can hear an EXCLAMATION of joy of FLAGSTACK players? That's normal, isn't it? This month it's a little bit different, because in exactly this order 3 friendly teams played their way to the top: Die 4 Fragezeichen (question marks), Die 4 Sonderzeichen (special characters) and Die 4 Ausrufezeichen (exclamation marks) (all DE) rock the podium! That looks funny with the "twinned" team avatars. And it looks really cool at the end of the Top 10 - many, many colourful flags... We're keeping our fingers crossed that you'll be mixing up the ranking again in the next Team Battle!

deploy this broom from Monday (23 October 2017, 00:00, time zone Europe/Berlin). This places a total of 35 witches within a radius of 1km around your current location on the map. These 35 witches are visible to all players and can be capped by all players! You have to collect at least 31 witches to get the Halloween Badge 2017 - be curious to see if there's anything trick-or-treating! The spook ends on 31 October 2017 at midnight (23:59, time zone Europe/Berlin) - and then all witches fly back home.
And here's the ultimate insider tip: Create an event in the aforementioned period and meet with as many Flagstackers as possible to collect each other's witches! A little tall stand. Asp_fan_cb and his wife have organized a top class event for the flagstackers from near and far (quasi their volunteer debut). And of course Urbi and palk didn't get around to stick their noses in again and "rediscover" the flagstack, which has been played very badly lately.
We met with the arrivals in the dark night at the Bunkermuseum in Kolkwitz and then it started, the wild flag hunt. What the event should be about, the organizer has logged here:

So it happened that we (with the blessing of the women) were able to visit a local brewery during the day and after the delicious dinner we started into the night and accompanied the whole gang.
And as it turns out, we also met a Resources player at the powerful Nightflag collect (here a link to the blogged route planning).
Finally Heiko Erik and Rabea, the two heads of Flagstack, answered our questions and brought us up to date on the development of the game.

wow, what a weekend! Three long days of the exhibition on the "Model Hobby Spiel" in Leipzig (DE) are behind us, where we were able to inspire many new flagstackers... FTC Hunter? You are a "First To Capture Hunter", if you are looking for those specific flags to be the first player who captures them - and this is exactly what will become your special experience!
Take the new challenge and find those flags with 0 captures and an age of at least 90 days! These flags are represented on the map with the special icon - the flag with three stars. From that moment they will get you triple capture and capture-on points AND with that special icon they can be captured multiple times within 60 seconds by different players (groups / families). After the FTC they are shown as original flags again.

Warsteiner flagstack nighttrail
In a joint action, the Easy Flaggers team has created the first nighttrail in Warstein (DE).

Start and finish is the free parking in the Warsteiner Bilstein valley (Bilsteintal) with its public wildlife park. For your navigation device you can use the following address:
Im Bodmen 52, 59581 Warstein, Germany
The route has a length of over 8 kilometers and reflects the conditions in the Sauerland. It leads past unconsolidated forest and fortified field paths past Warstein as well as at the end through the wildlife park.
At the moment, the route includes about 180 night flags as well as some dice and oracle flags.
The beautiful round is also suitable for inexperienced hikers. Because of the parts through the forest, however, a firm footwear is recommended as well as a pocket / forehead lamp at night.
