Team Battle 16 is over
Well, we missed the target for the international Top 12 (do you remember the news from the last Team Battle?). The team "GCHN" from the High North probably seemed to be Spanish - at least it looked like different national flags. The Australian team "Fun with Flags" has made it into the Top 12 with a narrow lead - we can rely on you :-) - and rings in the further distributed world-wide team positions.
And now hand on your heart - you surely thought "I'm not looking right"? At the top of the rankings you have to rub your eyes... Not only the Bielefeld Flaggers have expanded as a runner-up a good lead to the rank 3. If you look at the first place, you will realize that we are dealing with real FLAGSTACK professionals here.
First: the record from Team Battle #12 was finally set!
Second: the incredible mark of 100,000 team credits was broken - please tell us, all the 5 guys of team 4 question marks, are you doing anything else than playing FLAGSTACK? You have done an incredible performance, with words hardly to describe. So we are curious how long it will take to reach this record.

Team Battle 15 is over
Again one month is over and so the Team Battle #15! It was already early on that the German teams will be leading the ranking this month, and this has lasted until the end - 12 teams from the home country of FLAGSTACK! Pleasant, yes, but quite honestly: a colorful mixture is much more exciting and thus the goal for the next team Battle #16!

... und mit dem neuen Night Trail erst recht!
Mitte Februar, an einem grauen Samstag, es war in der Mittagszeit. Eilig erledigen Menschen in der Gifhorner Innenstadt das, was erledigt werden muss. Dazwischen fallen ein paar Leute auf – sie sind entspannt, lachen, haben sich warm angezogen als hätten sie noch einiges vor... Natürlich haben sie das! Es sind Flagstack-Spieler, die der Einladung von degeisi gefolgt sind um den neusten Night Trail einzuweihen.
Das Basislager des Tages war die Brasserie „Paula’s“. Von hier startete bereits mittags ein fast 3-stündiger Stadtrundgang, bei dem jede Menge Flaggen ausgelegt und eingesammelt wurden. Ganz nebenbei konnte degeisi die eine oder andere Geschichte über die Heimatstadt zum besten geben. Selbst die lokale Presse der „Gifhorner WAZ“ ist tapfer mit marschiert und war begeistert vom Spiel und dem Spaß der Flagstacker!
Nach einer Aufwärm-Pause im „Paula’s“ war es dann endlich soweit: die Sonne ging unter und die Night Flags leuchteten auf der Karte! Alle waren perfekt für die folgenden Stunden vorbereitet: mit festem Schuhwerk, Taschenlampen und genügend Akkuladung ging es los in die Nacht... Dank der vielen, vielen Night Flags war ein perfekter Spaziergang durch die Stadt und rund um den Schloss- und Mühlensee vorbereitet. Auf gut befestigten Wegen ging es am Mühlenmuseum und Schloss vorbei, an der Ise im Gänsemarsch entlang, auf Wald- und Wiesenflächen durch die Natur – und überall war bester Handy- und GPS-Empfang. An besonders schönen Aussichtspunkten mit Blick auf das abendlich beleuchtete Gifhorn und das Schloss hat degeisi Verschnaufpausen inkl. Zaubertrank eingelegt.
Dieses Abenteuer sollte sich keiner entgehen lassen, der zufällig oder geplant in die Region kommt. Eine abwechslungsreiche Runde, die (abhängig von der Uhrzeit) auch familientauglich ist, lockt mit über 100 Night Flags und wohlverdienten 1.000 Badge-Punkten!

Have a look in your app inventory, you should now find your Valentine flag. Deploy it somewhere sensible as it will scatter 28 hearts around in a 1km radius. They will be visible for you and any other players until midnight (23.59pm) on February 20, German time. Capture 14 hearts and you will receive a badge as well as 50 points for every heart.

"Love is in the air ..." sounds from all radios these days. And you can even see this "love" on the FLAGSTACK map soon - because we have prepared a little something for you ...!
In the next few days, you'll find a Valentines special flag in your inventory. This special flag can be deployed from 14th February 2017, 00:00 (time zone Europe / Berlin) at the location of your choice. A total of 28 hearts will be placed on the map within a radius of 1 km around your current location. In order to sweeten the capping for you and your loved ones, these hearts are visible to all players and also can be captured by all players - and for every heart we give you 50 capture points.
When you have collected a total of 14 of these hearts, you get a super beautiful Valentines Badge 2017 with 140 extra points! Overall you have 7 days to collect as many hearts as possible. The Valentines campaign will end on 20.February 2017, 23:59 (Time zone Europe / Berlin).

Even in this year we cannot and will not keep our feet still. To prepare new features, we will restart our servers on 01.February 2017 at 03:00 (timezone Europe / Berlin). During this period, our servers incl. the website and the app will not be accessible for a few minutes.
As first innovation, there will be an additional bonus system from February, so you will be rewarded every day for the first capture or deployment of a flag with extra points! If you hold the whole thing for 7 days in a row, you’ll receive further extra points for your capture or deployment stamina on the seventh day! If you can do this even parallel, i.e. on the same day, you’ll hit the jackpot and get extra points again... Crazy? Always gladly again!
