When you deploy the Happy Holidays option with the app, the system will automatically populate 50 flags in a 500 meter radius around your current location, and only you can see them on the map. From the moment of deploy you have 7 days to collect these flags. For each captured flag you get 8 Capture Points.

So, done it… A varied battle month is over. The well-known turbo teams managed to get to the top, and they don’t get tired - top performance, boys and girls! In the golden middle it was exciting – the positions in the ranking were changing back and forth until the end. We are very pleased to welcome Australia and Denmark in the Top 10. For our Australian friends in team FNQ it was not nearly enough (although - it looked good in the middle), but hey - as the best team with 3 players you have played outstanding and fought well! Get two more players for the next Battle and nothing will be able to stop you…
As a reward for the top three teams, there is a small change now: instead of vouchers for the web shop there are coupons for the brand new credit shop now, which we present in this anniversary month!

For two years, to be exact since 01.July 2015 in time for the European midnight, there's the crazy hunt for flags... Virtual flag goals in real life accompany your everyday life and always lure you outside. Don't we have a great time together? There are plenty types of flags, a terribly nice community, beautiful areas - everything your heart desires.
We want to celebrate this anniversary! As it should be, we have considered a few highlights for you for the entire month of July!
The whole of July you’ll get presents - and the presents will come to you... Whether it's home, work or a walk with the dog... We send 310 present-Jumpers on their way which will gradually show up around you. Collect as many as you can, and after 31 capped packages you can unpack the Birthday Badge! As usual, you will be notified of a packet-jumper within a radius of 2km. Just one small tip: increase your horizon and look on the map for other presents close to your position – even if they don’t give a signal, they are still there for you!
That wasn’t all that we have prepared for you... We will, among other things - the pressure is on - publish a new flag type and this one has a great advantage. You haven’t experienced anything like this before, this flag brings a whole new excitement to the game. And more is not revealed yet...

Strike! And once again a lucky number! Exactly 55 days later, it's time again and DK5ON (DE) was able to do the 9-millionth capture on his way through the Netherlands… The anniversary flag lies near Bolsward, Friesland - and from today it is eternalized with the obligatory special icon on the map!

Do you notice it? Summer is approaching and with it the big holiday period. For many people, it is part of it: holidays in Denmark. Many Europeans, and of course the Danes themselves, love this country - the coast, the landscape, the hospitality. In keeping with the season, we present the latest of all COBs (Country Badges): Train stations in Denmark!
There's a lot going on in Denmark - TEAMLKN unconditionally collected the coordinates for 458 stations. Many thanks and applause to you, TEAMLKN! This has become a really nice, large COB. As usual, a total of three badges are hidden, which means you will get a special award for capturing 90/183/365 for orange locomotives! And yes, all of these stations are marked with the special icon of the orange locomotive on the map and can be captured DAILY (always 24 hours after your last capture)!
We are delighted that many of the players will enjoy this challenge. And who knows, maybe there is a certain Marguerite flower on the way...

Were you outside a lot at the weekend? This is our suggestion for another sunny pastime: We’ve published a new LAB (Local Area Badge) for you in the Rhineland, where you can combine FLAGSTACK with beautiful bicycle tours – the moated castle route in the Rhine bay (DE)! Discover the region with the largest concentration of moated castles in Europe, that extends between Bonn and Aachen. Probably our player c-bn has already planned the tour, because he had the idea for this LAB. If you are interested in organizing your tour, next to our map you can visit this website where you can find all the useful information.
From one moated castle to the next, you may want to deploy one or the other flag. From this weekend, there is a great badge for all of your deployed flags (past and future) with a total of 5 levels and 3 bonus levels. What about the quantity breaks? Look at this:
Level 1 = 750 deploys
Level 2 = 1,500 deploys
Level 3 = 3,000 deploys
Level 4 = 6,000 deploys
Level 5 = 12,000 deploys
